Doctor of Chiropractic / Clinic Owner
Dr. Kenneth is a “new generation” style Doctor of Chiropractic using a wide range of evidence-informed therapies to the benefit of his chiropractic patients.Dr. Kenneth believes the key to optimal patient care and injury recovery is through thorough diagnosis and a comprehensive treatment plan. Not only are his treatment plans based on research and clinical experiences, but more importantly, they are based on patient preferences and individual goals.
Depending on the individual patient’s needs, Dr. Kenneth may recommend additional therapies in the form of massage therapy, clinical yoga rehabilitation, physiotherapy, nutritional counselling and/or mental/emotional counselling. All these therapies we offer in-house. However, if a patient would benefit from therapies we do not have, we gladly refer patients to external specialists in the local community.
Apart from his primary focus to his patients, Dr. Kenneth is the clinic owner with all the administrative and management tasks that come with that. In his spare time, Dr. Kenneth teaches group fitness classes and spends time with his family.
Registered Massage Therapist
As a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001, Angela continues to find joy and passion in the career she has chosen. She sees massage therapy as a combination of science, skill and art. In her years of treating, Angela has enjoyed so many facets of being an RMT. Her experiences in massage include, but are not limited to; pregnancy massage, baby massage, Esalen deep tissue, and Thai massage.
She has been honoured to work with the People with AIDS Foundation and has also worked in palliative care. Angela’s journey as a therapist has brought me here to work with such an exciting group of professionals, which includes Dr. Kenneth; a chiropractor her clients are already familiar and comfortable with.
When Angela is not working, she is busy with family and friends in and around the Waterloo region.
Sayaka is our registered physiotherapist who is truly passionate about working with her patients to achieve their goals. Sayaka’s treatment approach involves a combination of manual therapy, contemporary medical acupuncture, soft tissue work using tools such as cupping, and providing personalized exercises to target the patients’ specific needs. She completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto and has since had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, from acute care to high-performance athletes.
When Sayaka is not working in the clinic, she is likely spending time training for triathlons, cooking, or lounging at home with her dog, Jake.
Brittany is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters in Nutrition Communication, and she is passionate about helping people improve their relationship with food.
Growing up, she did not have a great relationship with food. She was a very picky eater and didn't have any resources available to help her navigate her fears. She learned to interact with food in a new way when she took her first nutrition course in university, and fell in love with the science of food and nutrition.
She believes that the best way to help people improve their relationship with food and adopt sustainable healthy behaviours is to work collaboratively -- that means every treatment plan is uniquely tailored to the individual's needs, utilizing the knowledge that she has gained over the last 10 years.
When she is not working, you can find her curled up with a book, playing the latest video game, or whizzing down mountains on a snowboard.
Pamela is a Registered Nurse providing general health assessments for adults, children and babies, prenatal and well-woman support as well as genetic counselling.
She has spent more than a decade in family practice where she worked together with patients to keep them in good health. She believes in the importance of looking at an entire patient not just the unwell part which is often the norm. She believes all systems work together and it is this philosophy over the years that has led to patients being properly diagnosed.
She also understands that not everyone gets the time they need or want with their doctor and doctors are rushed and cannot always provide the time or attention. A general assessment looks at all symptoms, test results, and seeks logical answers that lead to a diagnosis and treatment plans are created based on the individual.
Assessments may include blood work and/or imaging as well as being introduced to other practitioners at the studio where their knowledge fits. She would also refer to community supports as necessary.
